Samiur Rahman is a Cloud Engineer working on Microsoft cloud infrastructure, networking, and platform reliability.
He is currently a Cloud DevOps Engineer at LEO Pharma, one of the engineers responsible for the Azure platform — over 200 subscriptions, a 15,000-user tenant, and a production estate managed end-to-end with Terraform. His work covers cloud governance, networking, identity, CI/CD, and Site Reliability Engineering, together with the Cloud/DevOps lifecycle of the company’s deployed generative AI models, principally Anthropic Claude and OpenAI GPT. He also supports the Cyber Security team on escalations and leads resolution of network incidents. He works in a team of cloud, data, and AI engineers, reporting to the Head of AI & Cloud Data Services at the company’s Copenhagen headquarters.
He was previously a Senior Cloud Network Engineer at Microsoft, resolving global Azure networking escalations — ExpressRoute, Azure Kubernetes Service, private peering, and DNS — for Fortune 50 enterprises and government organisations, including the Government of the United Kingdom, the British Transport Police, and the Government of South Australia. Earlier roles were held at BNP Paribas in Kraków and Honeywell in Katowice.
Samiur is also a trainee pilot, having completed the EASA Private Pilot Licence Ground School at ATO Avioner in Warsaw with a final score of 94%. He is currently in the practical phase of the course.
